Your Vote Counts

If you follow the PowWeb Forum Announcements at all, you may have seen that we launched a new feature called the “Run Job Now Tool” a couple of weeks ago.
What the heck is a “Run Job Now Tool”? The truth is that for most of you, it doesn’t matter. What’s important is how and why this tool used for testing and troubleshooting scheduled jobs came into fruition.
This tool was voted for 73 times within our Customer Wishlist. You’re probably saying to yourself, “Well Joshua, 73 isn’t a very high number.” True, it isn’t. However, in this case it was a good suggestion and a relatively quick thing to build so we went ahead and acted on it. The number of votes doesn’t necessarily dictate which suggestions get worked on, but it does indicate demand which is definitely a deciding factor.
Even if you aren’t a customer, you can still submit a suggestion to be voted on by our existing customers. Allowing anyone to submit a suggestion can reveal to us what one thing is keeping someone from signing up.
Obviously, we can’t put every suggestion we get up on the Wishlist. If we did, it’d be a mile long and no one would want to sift through all of them to vote. Instead, we read through every suggestion (yes, someone reads every one) and for the most part, put up the suggestions we think will have the most impact on our customers.
So, if you haven’t already, do go check out the Customer Wishlist and remember to submit your suggestion. We’ll be happy to look it over.
